Camping Aquarius forms part of the extraordinary Costa Brava

They say there are mountain people and sea people. Some prefer the water, others feel more comfortable on the peaks. The Costa Brava offers both options: sea and mountains.
Sandy beaches in enchanting coves, as well as rocky ones that line the rugged coast. However in the Gulf of Roses, in Empuriabrava and in Sant Pere Pescador, the fine sandy beaches extend over a gentle slope.

Discover the most beautiful tourist attractions

The most visited tourist attractions on the Costa Brava are not located on the coast but inland: ruins of Romanesque monasteries, the Castle of San Fernando, with the longest wall in Catalonia and the Salvador Dalí Museum in Figueras. Peralada, an XIV century fortress with a built-in church from the Augustine Monastery. The beautiful old town of Pals, fully preserved and restored. Excavations of an Iberian settlement in Ullastret.
There are also coastal locations that offer well-known Spanish tourist attractions: Cadaqués, the house-museum of Dalí in Portlligat, the excavations of the Greco-Roman city of Empúries near L’Escala and many other places characterised by a picturesque old town with fascinating historical relics.
The Costa Brava also has magnificent natural parks: “Cap de Creus” in Alt Empordà, the national park “Aiguamolls del Empordà”, a wetland of great ecological importance between Roses, Empuriabrava and L’Escala as well as the Natural Park of Albera, at the foot of the Pyrenees.
