Bañolas Lake

Located in an area of indescribable beauty, this is the largest lake on the Iberian Peninsula. During the Olympic Games of 1992 in Barcelona, some of the rowing competitions were held here.

The Butterfly park, Empuriabrava

The Butterfly Park in Empuriabrava is definitely worth a visit. This tropical garden of 1000 square metres of artificial forest offers a great variety of flora and fauna. In addition to the many coloured and exotic butterflies, there are tortoises, parrots and iguanas to admire and discover.


This picturesque mountain town is well-known for its ancient catholic monastery and emblematic Romanesque architecture, in particular a photogenic XII century bridge that has become the symbol of the city. In the Middle Ages Besalú was the capital of the county.

Castle museum of Peralada

The XIV century castle is home to the casino as well as the “Castle Museum of Peralada”. Collections of glass objects, ceramics, books and paintings, as well as an historic winery (with wine tasting) reflect the splendour of the Catalan Bourgeoisie.


Pals is a medieval town with a well-preserved historical centre that has a lot of character. It is ringed by old walls and cobbled back-streets with arches, houses and old buildings. The Romaneque clock tower, at almost 15m high, dates back to the XI century. From the “Mirador del Prado” viewpoint there are marvellous views of the rice fields, the fruit orchards and the sea.


The area includes the small town of Camprodon, as well as several other towns like Llanara, Molló and Setcases, that are embellished by their rich Romanesque architecture.

Valle de Nuria

A typical high mountain landscape, characteristic of the Girona Pyrenees. This area can only be accessed on foot or by the mountain railway that connects Ribes de Freser with Queralbs and Núria.

Calas de Begur, Palafrugell and the lighthouse of San Sebastián

Steep cliffs, precious coves, transparent waters and lush vegetation turn this coastal area into an icon of the Costa Brava.

Oix & Beget

An impressive mountain landscape with lush vegetation, cliffs and wide gorges and a major legacy of Romanesque architecture.

Roses Express Train

The Roses Tourist and Cultural Train & Cap de Creus Express offer you a new way of visiting the towns of Roses and Cap de Creus, and at the same time enjoying their marvellous panoramic views, with fascinating landscapes such as the bay of Roses and the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. On our trips you can view the coves with their clean, shimmering waters of the Mediterranean and discover the thousand years of culture and history of the town of Roses.

The Ceramic Museum of Bisbal

The special quality of the local clay and a long tradition of craft work have turned “La Bisbal d’Empordà” into the capital of ceramics.

The Jewish Museum of Girona

With steep steps, tiny patios and winding alleys, the “Call” of Girona is without doubt one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in the world. The Museum of Jewish History offers information on the secrets of the district, the history of Catalan Jewish culture and also houses a permanent exhibition on the most diverse aspects of the life of the Jewish community in historic Girona.

Hiking by the sea

“Camí de Ronda”: coastal walks that have been used for centuries by fishermen, coast guards and smugglers, run alongside the Mediterranean sea and join the most famous coastal tourist points along the Costa Brava. These hikes, through shady pine forests, cliffs and hidden coves offer unforgettable views of the coast.


The Costa Brava offers a wide network of routes that perfectly adapt to the needs of all cyclists: many of them running between the sea and the mountains.

For those who prefer tranquillity or navigating on small scale there is the option to go out on a private sail boat with friends and family – without doubt an exclusive experience for a great day!

Catamaran trips

A trip on a catamaran offers a unique opportunity to experience the coast from the sea: whether relaxing on the nets on deck, stopping to take a dip or simply enjoying the sun on deck.

Traditional sailing trips

Sail the Costa Brava in a traditional craft, made in 1915, is another experience that cannot be missed. Choose between navigating on a lateen sail boat to round “Cap Gros”, sailing with the help of a motor to the archipelago of the nearby ”Formiga” Islands, or enjoying the traditional way of navigating on the Costa Brava.

Aquabrava, Roses

Dizzying slides, rafting, relaxation pools, water games with mini toboggans, artificial rivers, waterfalls and climbing frames are among the 19 different attractions that the most famous water park on the Costa Brava has to offer.

Water World, Lloret de Mar

Water World is located on the outskirts of Lloret de Mar. It is one of the largest water parks in Europe and one of the best in Spain. It has a range of attractions for all ages: wave pools, hydro-massage baths, an almost vertical water toboggan nearly 40 metres high, to name but a few.

Aquadiver, Platja d' Aro

The Aquadiver water park, as well as offering a wide range of attractions for all ages, also includes a picnic area, tents, sun bed rental, cafeterias and restaurants.

Water park in the sea, Empuriabrava

Fun at the beach for the little ones: this amusement park in the sea has toboggans, trampolines, obstacle courses and a multitude of floating platforms where the kids can have fun and let off steam during the day.
